Frequently Asked Questions

What paints do you use?
We can use whatever paint our client’s desire. We have supplier accounts at every major paint supplier and are able to get the right product for the job. Selecting the right paint is a conversation we have with the client during the estimate. Every paint or coating is made to serve a purpose, so it is important we talk with each client and understand what their goals are, and then we can line them up with the best product for their specific need. We are the experts and we would be happy to explain the pros and cons and help you pick the right product for the job.
How far out are you booking?
Our business runs 12 months of the year, with full time staff painting every week of the year. Every day, clients are booking in their painting project so it is always hard to give an exact timeline. Generally speaking though, during the busiest months of the year (May – October), we can be booking as much as 6-8 weeks out. In the more regular months of the year (November – April), we are usually booking 4 weeks out. These are generalizations, so please be sure to ask us how far out we are booking when you decide to hire us.
What types of work do you do?
We really do it all. Spraying stucco, exterior wood trim, vinyl siding, metal doors, new drywall, interior drywall repaints, staining decks, staining interior doors and handrails, industrial coatings, epoxy flooring, smoke sealing, you name it. Clients will let us know what substrate (surface) they want to paint, and we will let them know the right products and the right process.
Do you have a warranty?
Yes, we have the most competitive warranty program in the market, with most of our work being covered by a 3 year warranty. Certain items are not covered under warranty such as walked on surfaces, and surfaces that have existing wood rot underneath, but we are always up front with our clients before they book in with us. That way, they know the full value they are getting hiring us, from the labor and materials to do the work, to the excellent customer service, to a comprehensive warranty on the work they have done. Our warranty is also in writing, so you can be sure it will be honored.
Are your painters good?
Buhle prides itself on hiring people who care about customer service and who are knowledgeable on the products and processes required to be a professional painter. Painting is a craft to us, not just a job. Our painters undergo very thorough training, right from training in customer service, safety protocols (We are a COR certified company), coatings, and trade-specific tools. On top of that, we always have a lead painter on site who is responsible for the service delivery on the site, from the setup, to the prep, to the paint application, clean up, and walk through.
How long have you been in business?
Buhle was started by a German immigrant in the 1950’s. Buhle is business known for it’s quality of work and for a clientele that appreciates quality work being done. It is an honor for a painter to don the Buhle shirt and painter whites, as many craftsman who have gone before them have done the same. The name Buhle is synonymous with quality and it has maintained that image throughout the last 70+ years, even through successive ownership changes. More recently in 2019, Buhle was purchased by it’s new owner, Jason Greschuk, who has the same passion for quality and customer service as the owners who have gone before him.
Do you have any references I can call?
Absolutely. We have over 70 years of clients who would be happy to vouch for our services. There is no shortage of people we can send your way to understand more about their experience hiring us to do their painting. We often receive work requests through referrals from other happy customers and repeat customers is a huge part of our business. Please let us know if you would like to call some references to help you feel safe hiring us to take care of your painting project for you. We would be happy to provide you those references!
